customized mini 14

New York, assault with a weapon of state law: what can I do?
Recently honorably discharged from the military, qualified in many guns as M4, M9, M249. I really like the shooting assault rifles and went out and got a Ruger Mini-14. Now, I have decided customization, ie Pistol grip, adjustable grip, folding stock, high capacity magazines … I went online and gun laws up and saw that in the State of New York you can own an assault rifle, but with some options. Then I went to another site and saw that the rifle was completed in 2004. My question is: what can I do legally with my mini-14 weapons but I turned into the army?
The ban expired in 2004 nationally, but but but the great state of New York maintained the assault weapons laws in the books …… Take a look …. http://www.nraila.org/statelawpdfs/NYSL.pdf can add a loader and pistol pouch of his Crosse Ruger Mini 14 …. But thats it! – No side folding butt stock folder, Flash hidden, carried forward with a pistol grip, bayonet or bayonet legs ….. You allowed 2 "bad" characteristics and thats it ……. Yes, the Ruger Mini-14 has many alternatives, but I think most of them are useless and a waste of money of mine ….. exactly like this in the photo and it works great …… Another of my Mini is the same model, but its scope — http://www.ruger-firearms.com/Firearms/FAProdView?model=5816&return=Y past 25 years, tried all kinds of gadgets and aftermarket tactics have come to the conclusion that they are a waste of money ….
