What pickup combo is good for my guitar?
I have a Gibson Les Paul Vintage Mahogany and plan to do much customization on it, including pick-ups. I play many different styles, so I want something versatile. To be able to go from clean to heavy Metallica Bullet For My Valentine, Primus tone, blues tone without having to do a lot of playing with my tone Tobs. I thought a combo EMG. Comments? Or is there a guitar that you can update it's very versatile?
If you want to replace Gibson pills, forget EMG for any Gibson. Use DiMarzio Humbuckers hell. If you put one of these in the neck, opens with the quality of sound almost no sound.
